Yes, that's correct. I have a debit card and use it for online purchases and anywhere that could be risky. To protect myself I only keep enough money in that account to cover those purchases. There's no overdraft protection on that account so I can only be scammed for a small amount. It hasn't happened in over 20 years. I hope I didnt just jinx myself.
