I don't have and won't get a debit card. I also have 1 credit card with a fairly low limit used for online purchases only, have another card I use for in person stuff. Last Christmas the credit card company sent me a notice they had raised my limit on the card I use online just in time for Christmas shopping. Called and told them to either put the limit back where it was or cancel the card.
Check your bank acc'ts often.
