I serve on a telephone company board and have no idea what Fiber copper is. Copper transmits electricity and fiber transmits light.

That’s what the lady told me today that fiber optic shoots a light but this fiber copper doesn’t use light but uses the copper to transfer the information. Just from the conversation I had with her she wasn’t to impressed with what they were doing but she’s just doing her job.

Sounds like they are minimizing all investment to the bare minimum of what is required to maximize the amount of government money the can pocket. Sounds about like farmers. Somewhere a bureaucrat is getting his picture in the paper and recognition for improving infrastructure in technology deprived rural areas. This will be the future with the green new deal.
