On a calm night in spring planting you could sit in the back yard and tell who was working the land by the sound of the JD or Allis or IH and often knew which field they were working by the sound up the hill and down again.
Then there was the 806 I bought used to replace the 60hp Nuffield because we bought another farm and i needed a few more horses and bigger cultivator to cover the land.
