Looks to me like you should have asked how much. However, I do feel like when purchasing a service and not an item, you should be allowed to change your mind and not be liable for the balance. Cancellation fee, sure. Prorated for days used, ok.
I’m not sure what they are trying to accomplish by harassing and threatening you...sure doesn’t make you want to pay! Bad publicity on sites like this as well.
Offer them $150 for their time and chalk it up to a lesson learned. If they still insist on the full amount, tell them to pound sand.... | |
