| Dry is a relative term when looking at these maps. W Texas, NM, AZ.....are a natural desert. Not a lot of corn or soy grown in Nevada last I checked. There is a reason retired people go there in the winter.....because it is hot and dry. To see those areas on the drought map is natural. This is nothing new. Put the red and orange spots over all the I states and then the situation changes. | |
