Subject: planting pace with dry weather

Northeast Nebraska and Candelaria Philippines
If it stays dry in the corn belt, I would think the planting pace will be fast starting in about a week. Will this bring the market down? In my experience, soil condition trumps temputure. Should get nice seed placement, and no sidewall compaction as dry as it is. If we pick up some rains after seeding it should be a good recipe for a good start to a crop.

ND and SD will be interesting. Many of the increased acres coming from that area.

What do you say?
