Yes, I set basis. We put four loads on wheels today. I need cash, basis levels here are very good historically, the weather is too crappy for fieldwork, and I have until June 25 to set the futures price. I may not get the last grand slam, but I managed to hold on to a few thousand bushels in the bin that are $5 above most of the beans that got delivered right off the combine. Would like to think I at least made it to third base with a chance to score on this last bin... |
