Some of the best fish I have had was buffalo from cold water in early December. Buddy was duck hunting and conservation department was shocking Clinton Lake for fish census. They tossed a bunch of 3 lb buffalo up on the bank and buddy picked them up. Sweet an mild like cold water yellow perch.
