This I know for a fact, when that local E-plant calls with a “hot bid” as they call it that is a dime over their current cash price......the price is going up. This started here last fall and I’ve been sitting still for the most part and selling when a bit of cash is needed.
Now, if he government would seriously look into the gouging that is and will take place in our inputs. Fertilizer especially.
This isn’t just pointed at you but this price gouging your speaking of. We farmers are our own worst enemies. We bitch when our input costs go crazy but we are willing to pay over the top land prices. Landlords see it. Sellers see it. Why fault everyone else when we do it to ourselves |
