| The opening of the "trading day" occurs at 7pm cst,,, the close of the trading day is at 1:20pm the following calendar day,,, For example if you look at a day chart for Monday's trade,,, the opening will be from 7pm on Sunday night,,, while the close will be from 1:20pm on that Monday,,, the morning halt to trading is just for Chicago to either get breakfast or ride the trains/subways to the office... both sessions are considered the same trading day. | |
