| You brought a smile to my face. Fifteen years or so ago, my brother-in-law assured me that soon bacon would be a thing of the past. No one would buy it. It would be worthless. Today, side pork brings more than twice the price of pork loins where we live.
Along that same line - I remember thinking as I made a jam sandwich several years ago that, if I left off the butter and had bread and jam, it would be healthy. Turns out the butter was the only healthy part of the sandwich.
