So we replaced the belt on our 30 year old maytag dryer. Also vacuumed out the inside while we had it apart.
How long should it stink like "new belt" or "hot belt"? All the clothes smell like that and its been 2 or 3 weeks now. Do we have a bad belt or something?
This dryer the belt goes around/on the drum, there is no separate pulley for the drum.
