Southeast Colorado | Yes, the likes of Jesse Jackson have earned a great living not solving the problem. No way he'd ever want to work himself out of a job.
Since I didn't live during Martin Luther King Jr's days...............I have a different feeling about him. When I hear the words of his most famous speaches...........it sounds good. It sounds like a plea for equal opportunity..........not equal outcome. I realize I only get to hear the highlights...........so maybe there was more "not so good" involved. However, it appears to me, that he was tackling the problem the right way. And I don't hear that type rhetoric from the newer versions of him. It is only words of division. | |
