Northern Nebraska | As farmers many ask the usda to make them whole again after disasters or government induced low prices like from the trade war. Those on here that believe in taking such payments from the government did. I don't see this program as being any different than the payments farmers got for being the pawns in a trade war.
A group of fellow farmers were unfairly punished by the government based on something they had no control over. It only stands to reason they should be made whole again by the government. Most on here ask that of the government on a regular basis.
