What is too high in your opinion? It is pretty standard for vegetables. I should have noted we always split apply NPK because of our soil characteristics.

I appreciate all thoughts and comments, I am always trying to learn more.

Joel I sent you an email.

Paul, hopefully no sludge etc,. My guess right now is residual from fungicide application in the past. The apples were planted in 1950~. Lots of copper fungicide applied in those days, but it’s hard to say.
I have a call in with a MSU rep that I trust to get his opinion.
