Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot | We were there in November. I hate the shuttle thing, previously in the winter you could still drive around in your own vehicle, but I guess it's just gotten too busy for that. Keep in mind if you get a room for the night at the lodge you can also drive in yourself, but that isn't a cheap option.
It wasn't horribly crowded for us though. We walked up and got shuttle tickets both times. Usually after 3 pm walk ups are accepted, and the next day it was freezing cold and everyone was wimping out so we walked up got tickets again in the morning. I was really surprised that it was more crowded in Zion than Grand Canyon or Bryce though. Crowded or not, it's worth seeing. | |
