central michigan | I did some Tuesday as well. Mine was in corn stalks. No tilled twin rows of wheat into the stalks the day after the combine with my 15' 750 drill. That was hard with all the residue. Sprayed with Affinity Broadspec 3 weeks ago because there is a 14 day plant back to soybeans. Streamed 28% and ATS on last week. Tuesday I put 1 row of beans into the wheat with my 30" 12 row planter. That was also hard due to fertilizer openers and row cleaners moving so much residue I could barley tell where I planted. Finally pinned up the row cleaners and quit looking back. When I finished I thought I had a disaster on my hands, but after a couple days everything is settling down and looking better. Maybe it will work out??? If I do it again I definatly need to do some sort of planter or drill modifications or put together a purpose built planter. | |
