Subject: RE: NAT approved load?

Dont worry, its engineered that way. You put the ladder front to back over the windshield over the main load (in this case plywood) held on by a tarp strap. The faster you go, the further the ladder will pivot towards the rear and, you guessed it, tightening the tarp strap. So you see this guy is only up to half speed, he can go quite a bit faster with out worrying about losing the plywood.

Now when he gets her up to 80, the ladder is fully spun around and the tarp strap is singing tight holding that plywood down, then he has to be careful, passing large semis can over tension the whole setup which will initiate "auto release". Then he has to go back to lowes and start all over again.

Enginneeering people, enginering.
