Subject: RE: 4430 and Grain cart

Monroe City, Indiana
I bought my first cart last fall. Had 6 inches of rain and didn’t want to use combine to haul 98 acres of corn out. I have a Deere 4450 and a J&M 750 was all that tractor could handle. I told myself in the beginning- you don’t have to fill it full. 3 hoppers from a 9410 combine 17% corn with a terrace and a small hill was plenty. Someone here on NAT told me to loop a chain from the 3 point hitch under the younger to help with the load. That was the best advice!!! I’m sure I would have bent the tongue.
