I hate plastic or fabric with a passion and refuse to use it.

I dont know if it is labeled or not but this is what the wife does:

- she uses preen in advance of planting
- then will spray roundup if needed before she plants to kill everything off (uses a gallon hand pump sprayer)
- plants her stuff and puts down mulch
- will spray roundup between rows where needed vs pulling everything, will pull the weeds to close to the veggies (yes some die because she can get a little to aggressive)

generally works well and we haven't had any crop failures as of yet!!!
