 n.c.iowa | Then I’d just go with the rate you want, initially, and see how it goes. Maybe load up three or four hundred gallons( best to figure how to accurately measure that, tank gauges aren’t always accurate) and spray it out and see what you got.
I have too noticed that my gallonages are different with uan solution that with water. I asked the Raven guy about it one time and he indicated that some setups seem to be more prone to this, and it has a lot to do with fluid dynamics, blah, blah, blah -okay I’ll take your word for it......
basically even though the flow meter is known as a “positive displacement turbine meter” it’s really not, and there can be some slippage especially if there is wear, or the bearing preload isn’t set right.
so 28% being alittle more viscous would have less slippage under these circumstances. |
