| We took a 200 mile crop tour on Friday, only a couple of wheels turning from Glasgow to Williston. Dry Dry Dry. I'm slamming mine in (more hrsw than normal due to sprayed out hay) as fast as I can get it in the ground (I roll like a furious turtle). Lots of acres going to peas/lentils here is my understanding, and I expect even soybeans this year (gamble on the rain and crop ins. I guess?). I have to believe hrsw acres down Significantly this year in its Major region (canuckistan/nord-akota/montucky). I assume it won't matter in the global scheme of things, until it does.
Heck of a year to not have alfalfa in (first ever here), but I'll hay soybeans and wheat off if its worth it. | |
