Ludington/Manistee MI area
It’s a shame we don’t all know what you do.

When I turn 50 my son will be 11 what are the odds of him going to the bank and getting the money to buy a farm? Last piece of land we bought we thought of adding his name on it with ours so when we do pass he’s already on it but still. We didn’t add his name figuring we can always add it on later in life.

My grandfather was 51 when he had is youngest how does your plan work for him.

If my son decides to farm I’ll let him provide input into decisions and try to help him get going but no way in hell will give up farming willingly till my body forces me.
