Think of it this way: If they won't marble and THEY ALSO make a Yield Grade 5, that's two reasons to disqualify them, not to like them. They don't have to be in the top 1%, but why would you want something that's in the worst 1%?



Exactly. I don't want high percentile fat numbers. Too many get wrapped up on how great the outside is and forget that the inside matters.

New 14mo bought today. Top 10% WW and DOC, 15% YW. Top 2% overall and top 1% in the beef.
