 Pittsburg, Kansas | As a corn grower I wish I could agree with you. But what I have learned over the last three years unfortunately does not bode well for a portion of our industry. On the positive side, HFCS is really no worse than sugar as they are basically the same. Only a slight increase of fructose levels over over the levels of glucose in sugar (sucrose).
Fructose is metabolized in the liver. The first video is less than 5 minutes long and will tell a person everything they need to know. The others go into greater depth. Not all calories are created equal, like we have been told by the industry and current health guidlines.
