Had an ice cream maker sitting in my garage that was left over from my youth 50 years ago.  One day I said to my self, self i am going to try to make some ice cream.   So I did. Followed some recipies that were like yours and it was good.

   I like dairy queen Ice cream so one day I googled to see if I could make that.  Turns out that there are lots of recopies.  A little Knox gelatin in the mix is what makes that soft serve hold together in form.  It has become my favorite.  Especially right when it is made.   Gonna make a batch Sunday for all the grand kiddos.   YUM
