When ice fishing, cats taste waaaaay better then than when it gets warm out. I would give our chickens the egg sacks from them, pike, walleye or burbot......till about 3 or so days later, you would crack and egg to fry it...it smelled and had a light fishy flavor. That was the end to the chickens getting a treat.
