Highland Center, in Southeast Iowa | Double Time - 3/28/2021 10:55 Found this glass object in the dirt while cleaning up a pile of cans about 15 years ago. Have never figured out what it is. The open end is threaded like it went on a lantern, or could it have been some sort of electrical insulator? Pictured next to a 7.5oz coke for comparison.
I think it may be an insulator. I've never seen that style before, but to me the fact that the open end is threaded lends to that conclusion. Others will chime in whether I'm right or wrong! |
