Had a boom lift cylinder seeping on a JD 328 skid steer. In the seal kit is the sealing ring for the center of the piston. It is not particularly flexible. How do you get it on without ruining it?
We ended up getting it on using some of the inside body panel removal tools we have. Stretched it some but didn't damage it too bad imo. Looks like there are cone shaped installation tools that you can buy.
