Alberta Canada | Does anybody on here farm or do business on both sides of the border?
I farm in Alberta but recently got my green card and am wondering if I should start an LLC here in the states.
I have been selling some of our crop seed in the US for the past 6 years and just ran that under my Canadian taxes. We’re planning to be in Tennessee during most of the winter in the coming years.
I was told Canada and the US have a tax treaty and I don’t need to file in the US but I’m thinking it might be better if I did ???
Hard to get straight answers even from accountants so I figured somebody else might have have experienced this.. | |
