Iowa | I actually have 2 term policies - total of 1.2 million, he was looking at converting some out of my first policy. Getting ready to tell the agent to piss off - he called me yesterday “you got 10 min”. Asked me a health question and it tipped me off it had nothing to do with the ira we were setting up. Asked him what’s this got to do with insurance? He was filling out form for conversion without my permission. My off farm job is in sales, so I know a “soft sell”, and our conversation never even went that far - he planned to get it done and swipe $400/mo in the process. Needless to say the ira is going to another co now. If my child wasn’t high risk I’d can the insurance too. | |
