Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | My 1770 didn't have one that I could find so I added one. Our CCS has the regular size 1 bushel planter boxes rather than the mini hoppers.
We used to plant commercial sweetcorn and just used the regular boxes so we would turn off the CCS blower. The sweet corn was planted considerably thinner than regular corn and it came in small sacks so it was easier just to use the regular hoppers. When we finished our field, the Company Field Man took any excess seed to the next farmer. By using the regular boxes only we didn't have to clean out any sweet corn seed from the CCS tanks. We still had to clean out all the regular boxes.
