Cattle should have to be picked up within 10 days on the cash market. Took them almost 1 month to pick up my BIL’s cattle.
Easy to control the market when you only have to buy cash cattle once a month.
I believe next fall would will be a great time to get into cattle. I sold mine last year, neighbor is selling his this summer. A pasture dad has rented for 5 years is going into row crops. Another 70 year old neighbor quit saving back replacements 3 years ago. Corns threw the roof.
Some day we will have $1400 feeders and I will not be buying. Hopefully I am full of fats when it happens. Empty out and go on vacation. | |
