Central MN | We have a Artsway bale processor and run it with our 289D 74hp (yea right) my opinion they are just rated that way.. that thing has more then enough power. I tried a C model that had 94hp playing in dirt piles I can't tell the difference in the 20 hp..
Back to the Bale shredder corn stalk bales I run at 2k rpms to blow across my 40 foot barn, straw 1400rpm.. it's a high flow XPS model.. the only time I notice a lack of hydraulic is when I am shredding a bale and lifting it up at the same time.. not sure that has anything to do with 74hp though or the pump lifting 3000 lbs and shredding a bale at the same time | |
