I've seen calves born and when they came out the umbilical cord basically tore and their whole insides came out opening the gut open. I wonder if the umbilical cord was somehow dumping into the scrotum. Man with a sack like that, he'll be running around the the feed ground thinking he's ten feet tall and bullet proof, at least for a day or so! I would like to see if he makes it, can you update us later. I've had a calf that we went to brand a couple of years ago, his sack was swollen up, I didn't dare cut him. Took to vet, it was full of infection. We cut it open and drained it and cut him, he got right over it. |
