coast of Maine | Here Maine crab will cost you close but its pure meat picked out of small crabs,Lobster same as pure meat cooked and picked.But live lobsters can be had for a couple dollars a lb at times ,some times 10$ lb but only when no ones fishing much,,weather /slow catch etc..There is no freight/shipping costs here.Then there are the big guys(processors) that hold the entire demand $$ in their hands,probably the answer | |
