Subject: Shop with living quarters

Middle Tennessee
Not sure where this goes, but most of us stock guys look at this daily. I want to build a small shop for several purposes. One is to insulate well so that I can keep primary feeding tractor ( height must clear about 11 feet) in during the winter. Second as I get older, I want a place to work on small projects . Third, I could use as a overnight guest house for workers or other family. I have learned from experience that it must be handicapped accessible. No stairs or obstacles that could limit use by some of my family. I am thinking shop part must be 50 feet so we could pull a truck and gooseneck through and 25feet wide. the living quarters maybe 15 x 30 with the rest as a office. I know codes will be tough but other than that what are you thoughts are experiences. I need advice even if it does not match my thinking above. I do have a 40 x48 shop on the farm but not heated and is always full in the winter .

Thanks
Toby
