Subject: energy vs entertainment cost

East central Iowa

What's your electric bill?  You know the thing that lights your home and maybe your shop.  Helps to heat your home via the furnace fan, runs you washer and dryer(maybe only the motor in they dryer), cooks your food, runs you TV, your computer, pumps your water, keeps your food cold or frozen, maybe opens your garage door and maybe a few things I've not mentioned.

Then what's your entertainment bill?  You know the thing that often comes with commercials, that is often repetitive in format and content.

Then what's your communication bill?  The thing you carry around in your pocket that cost as much as a computer, that let's you talk to somebody.  Most people just use it to talk or text.  Doesn't use hardly any energy.

Compare them sometime.
