West of Mpls MN about 50 miles on Hwy 12 | I believe when finished the Litchfield site will be at least as big as one of the recent expansion sites South of Cokato.
They also had a smaller processing facility in Cokato they shut down and now use that for cold storage when the new, quite large Howard Lake facility opened. They have also recently built their own new feed mill in Howard Lake, and bought the Darwin Elevator.
They got pretty creative at the "home" farm when they built a tunnel with a belt system in it running underneath the township road to get the eggs to the processing building from one of their first cage free building expansions. |
