| It appears the Raven encoder for granular is 180 pulses per revolution.

Dickey John ones are usually 360 (Deere used them on their hydraulic drives).
If the NH3 flow meter is a RFM60S (1.5" stainless) I believe a normal starting calibration number is 720, I know the FMX's take into account the 10 pulses multiplier that Raven uses.
Here is a good explanation from Tedbear:

With an FMX on FIQ, there is an option I believe for putting the master valve in the valve setup menu. I have just switched to running it this way last year.
When I couldn't get it working and in years past when they didn't have an option for a master valve for NH3, I would run my master valve teed off the wiring of my largest section, or a middle section, depending on the bar I was setting up at that time.
HOWEVER, I had either been running individual section valves OR hydraulic shut off valves for main flowon the bars. My use of a "master" valve is only for NH3 cooling flow to my coolers, NOT actual NH3 flow to the knives. That way for my setup, it real;ly didn't matter too much if the master was off and I was finishing point rows.
If your master is actually cutting off NH3 flow, I believe you need to run it off the valve setup screen if you are using FIQ.
Hope this helps some. | |
