Faunsdale, AL | Yes, you have a regular momentary contact push button station These are great in that you can piggy back as many as you want to control the same starter. Also nice if you want to automatically make sure something doesn’t restart after a power failure.
I don’t think you can do what you wanted to do. When you wired the relay in, you added a second START button, nothing else.
You can put it near the starter and control it as a parallel to your push button station. Independent dual controls though.
Your electrician should know how to connect it to the starter coil. Most starters will have a diagram inside showing how to connect either a push button station or a maintained contact switch to your starter.
Do you have two remote relays one for each auger or do both augers start and stop together from one motor starter box already?
