Subject: RE: The economics of cow/calf and when to walk away?

I gave up livestock 7 years ago. The price of grain then was part of the decision. I thought perhaps I would get back in when the grain prices dropped but I didn't. Found someone to rent my facilities and it has been a good venture. Now my age makes it easy for me to say I'm done with livestock. I put in about 30 years with them so I did my share. I know some of you out there have done it a lot longer.
