Wow, thats impressive. Ones Ive looked at are 7000-7x30 with less than 8k hours. Most have that 6.8L. Thing I dont understand is an old 4440 with 7k hours bring the same money as a 7200 or similar with similar hours. Seems like guys want to say a 40 yr old tractor with 7k hours could be a good tractor with a lot of life left, but a 10-15 yr old tractor with those hours is high houred and mostly wore out.
A 7200 has the 5.9L, not as good of an engine as the 6.8L, IMO. A 7400 has the 6.8L, and in the 10 series (and up) all the 7X10/20/30 models had the 6.8L, except the '10 and newer 7130 tractors. The earlier 7130 tractors had the 6.8L, but starting with the '10 model and up, the 7130 used the 4.5L, which was used in all the 6X10/20/30 tractors.
