We just purchased a 2014 Freightliner Cascadia with a D13 Detroit in it. So far have been very happy with the truck for the most part, very comfortable to drive. Only issue is if the truck sits for more than 15 min or so at an idle the truck will shut down with the check engine light on. I caught it once before it shut off, engine was running with the check engine light on and when I tried to put gas to it the engine died. When you turn the key off and restart the truck fires right up. The truck is a Ryder truck so not sure if there is some idle protection build in, or if something else is going on? Have already put about 1,000 miles on it and when running the truck it runs great, nothing to give worry just when the truck idles for 15 min or more.
