Nc Ks. | Traded a 25ft. 490 for a 22.5ft. 496. Went backwards a little on the size of the blades but the old 490 was getting pretty worn on the axles. Dont do that much tillage so figured I could get along with the little smaller blades. Tried it out a little and am surprised that it seems to be a better penetrator than the 490 was. Am wondering if the angle on the gangs is a little more than the 490 was? | |
