| RMD’s are exactly bass ackwards. Retirement has three stages, the go go years, the slow go years and the no go years. I want to, and will, spend as much in the go go years as we possibly can.Qlac’s also are a valuable tool that benefit many retirees, by allowing up to 25% of the account value not to exceed $135,000 into the QLAC, deffering RMD’s on that portion till age 85. Very few are aware of this very attractive provision.
