WestCentralMN | MN has had a 2% biodiesel blend mandate since 2005. A lot was learned by the fuel industry and the biodiesel producers in our Northern location. Problems/challenges that occurred early on have been figured out. Current mandate is 20% blend for April - September and 5% the rest of the year. Works well, adds much needed lubricity to low sulfur fuel and was a huge win for farmers in creating a renewable use for burdensome soyoil supplies. | |
