No. Just from the source to the tank. I can say with 100% certainty that 90% of the issues with DEF that I dealt with in the shop were from dirty DEF. And, the majority of those were in field contamination. Mostly due to not getting the def tank cap put on correctly. Especially when it came to the retaining chain for the cap. A lot of guys would get the chain in between the cap and fill neck and the next thing they knew they had fault codes out the whazoo for def system issues. Their first response was to blame anyone and everyone for a 2 second fix that could’ve avoided any and all issues. Comparing horror stories at training, I’ve heard everything from guys trying to make their own def to guys peeing in the tank to try to cheat the system. If you’re using def from a reputable source, your issues will be pretty few and far between.
