You can get 12k axles and 235/75r17.5 singles rated for 6000 each, at 125 psi. That should cut a nice rut. I don’t think I’d do it, but it’s an option.

The only problem with tri axles is if you will have dumb people pulling it. I like they ride smoother.

Seems a trailer that big should have triple 10k on it. Or maybe at least go to 8k, they’re much stouter than 7k.


The true 8K's are narrower than the 7K's or so several trailer builders I have talked to say when I have been trying to order a bumper pull flatbed that is over 84" wide deck. Because of the brakes IIRC.
